Aisha Jamila hinds is a popular American actor. Her fame is due to her role in TV series The Shield, and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has proven her versatility in acting by performing outstandingly in TV series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Her first recognition came from her character Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. However it was her role as the women's rights campaigner Fannie Lou Hamer from the documentary film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actor. Her career was booming with PepsiCo Inc. and Vogue magazine and also an ambassador contract with L'Oreal Paris in 2003.
