Abigail Spencer
Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actress. Most well-known is her roles in the films Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and the Powerful It Is Where I Leave You, as well in the show on TV called Angel's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. She rose to fame with roles she played in drama series Rectify. Gulf Breeze native Her first role was as a soap star in the show All My Children. Her role in the soap drama All My Children earned her an award from the soap Opera Digest for the best female newcomer. She largely played guest parts in TV series throughout the next couple of years. Her performance was praised for the part she took on in the role of The Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. Her stunning looks and her acting skills, she slowly gained a massive following. In the film Campfire Stones, she played a part when she was just 20 years old. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were some of her other movies. The character she played as the lead character in Beautiful Now was recognized with an award at the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Recently, Spencer portrayed Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. Spencer is nominated for Teen Choice Award after her appearance on the show received praise from reviewers.
